5 Days Queen Elizabeth & Kibale Forest National Park Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport in Entebbe or Kampala. Begin the scenic drive westwards to Kibale Forest National Park, passing beautiful countryside landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages.

Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest National Park.

The forest is home to over 13 primate species including red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and baboons. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, famous for birdlife and community tourism experiences.

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive offers stunning views of crater lakes, rolling hills, and the Rwenzori Mountain ranges.

Arrive in time for lunch and later enjoy an afternoon game drive where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and lions.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive in the Kasenyi plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the park. Look out for predators such as lions and hyenas, alongside large herds of buffaloes and antelopes.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This channel is famous for having one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa.

You will also see crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species along the shores.
