3 Days Murchison Falls National Park & Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport by your professional safari guide.

Drive north towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience on foot with experienced rangers. This exciting walk allows you to observe southern white rhinos in their natural habitat while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.

After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Enter the park and, depending on your arrival time, visit the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging about 43 meters into the Devil's Cauldron.

Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive across the northern savannah of Murchison Falls National Park, the park's premier wildlife viewing area.

• Oribis
• Hyenas
• Leopards (if lucky)

After returning to the lodge for lunch, head to the Paraa jetty for a memorable afternoon boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls.The boat cruise offers exceptional opportunities to see large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles basking along the riverbanks, elephants drinking at the water's edge, buffaloes, waterbucks, and an incredible variety of birds including African fish eagles, kingfishers, bee-eaters, herons, and cormorants.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Entebbe.

Enjoy scenic views of rural Uganda, local markets, and traditional villages along the way. Stop for lunch en route before continuing to Entebbe.
